V25 Fuel Treatment Featured in Waterways World Magazine

Canal boats face some particular fuel-management challenges.

Diesel can remain in the tank for long periods, especially during winter lay-up. Changing temperatures can contribute to condensation and water accumulation, while the presence of water can create conditions associated with microbial contamination,  commonly known as diesel bug.

This is exactly why we believe preventative fuel management is so important.

V25 is a highly concentrated Fuel Conditioner & Lubricity Improver designed for continuous preventative use. Rather than being a conventional biocide, V25 physically conditions the fuel, helping manage water, disperse contamination and deposits, maintain fuel stability and support cleaner fuel systems.

V25 for Canal Boats and Narrowboats

For canal boat owners, we’ve made V25 available in practical 100ml and 1 litre bottles.

A 100ml bottle treats up to 1,000 litres of fuel at the standard dosage, making it suitable for many canal boats and narrowboats.

For initial treatment and winter lay-up, Premier Fuel Solutions recommends double dosing at 1 litre per 5,000 litres of fuel, meaning a 100ml bottle will treat up to 500 litres at the double dosage.

Once treatment has been established, V25 can become a simple part of your regular refuelling routine.
